The Challenge

Welcome to the official Syniverse London charity cycle challenge 2016!

This October 2016, the Syniverse London office will attempt to cycle the distance from Land's End to John O'Groats on a static bike. That's from the most Southern point to the most Northern point of Great Britain!
The total distance is 1500 km / 932 miles and will be shared amongst employees in order to cover an average of 50 miles per day.
All profits will go towards the amazing Haven House charity we have elected to support again this year.

WE DID IT !!!

Early update this week because WE DID IT! Two whole days ahead of schedule, Derek crossed the line last night to complete the 1500km challenge. Not only that but we’ve also reached our £1500 target this morning! And if that wasn’t enough, it has been agreed that the EA will match the £1500 so every Pound contributed by you, your colleagues, friends or family will be worth double . Well done to all for taking part, but please keep going until Friday evening and see how far we can go and how much we can raise. 30 employees - 140 activities - 1528km Massive well done everybody, it wasn’t an easy challenge but we all worked together to pull it off. Great team effort for a great cause!

Welcome to Scotland!

As we are entering the last week of the challenge, I’m delighted to say we’re doing incredibly well, with distance and fundraising both on target. A total of 27 employees have now taken part, with a special appearance from Kim Wells. Also a special mention goes to Claudia and Derek who took us across the border to Scotland late on the 25th October. We’ve now logged a total of 116 activities covering a total of 1301km, with only 199km to go for the last week! Fundraising is looking good as well with £1,277 raised so far, only £223 to meet our target.

We've reached halfway!

We’ve reached the halfway point of the challenge and after a slow start, I’m pleased to say we are bang on schedule! We have managed an impressive 443km last week, taking our total to 803km, heading north towards Newcastle and then on to Scotland! A total of 22 employees took part so far, contributing anything from 1km to 201km. Jawad enters the Top Five by regularly doing 5km stints. So if you haven’t had a go yet, do give it a try. We will need everybody’s help as we’re losing 3 our top 5 contributors, John, Michael and Nerijus, for the whole of this week. Let’s not forget this is for charity and so far we have raised £346.95 for Haven House. Thank you all for your efforts. Siegfried

Challenge officially started!

Three people took part on the first day of the challenge to cover a total of 38.4km. Here's Paula clocking an impressive 20km to be top of the table!
What bike? The Wattbike

To achieve such a great challenge, we need a great bike. Introducing the Wattbike.

It can be adjusted to fit all, will log your speed, distance, cadence, power output and even heart rate if wearing a compatible strap!
